LEAVE A BEQUEST »
When making a will, please take a moment to think about leaving a bequest in your Will to help the KwaZulu-Natal Blind and Deaf Society to provide services for Blind and partially sighted and Deaf and hard of hearing people. We want all of them to lead healthy, productive lives side by side with their sighted and hearing counterparts.
We need the resources to teach sign language, train our clients in computer skills, braille literacy, daily living skills, orientation and mobility and, as well as, provide and find appropriate employment. Without this training, Blind and Deaf people remain helpless, isolated and unemployed .
If you fall in the right category, please ask your lawyer about the tax benefits applicable to your bequest.
The KZNBDS is a registered Section 18A organisation and as such will issue donors with 18A certificate to claim donations as a tax deduction. Please note that more than 90 % (ninety percent) of the beneficiaries of the KZNBDS are Black as classified in the BBBEE Codes of Good Practice. The KZN Blind and Deaf Society is a registered Level 1 BBBEE contributor.
