Business Growth
Work opportunities are scarce for people with disabilities as they are continuously sidelined by employers. This makes it difficult for people with disabilities, particularly blind and deaf people to gain vital work experience.
Workshops
Cane Weaving
Various cane products are produced including baskets, trays and furniture. Repairs are also done to cane products.
Sewing Room
Partially sighted, deaf and hard of hearing women are employed to sew various garments.
Since commencing the project, our beneficiaries have learned making various products such as aprons, table runners, T-shirts, face masks, etc.
Assembly
The Society runs an assembly workshop whereas Blind, Partially Sighted, Deaf and Hard of Hearing client’s assembly components. However, the Society is always souring more work for our clients to help sustain themselves.
